Looking for Air Operations Agent jobs in Wood Dale where every day keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Dangerous Goods (DG), TSA, and IATA training or certification preferred

• Minimum 2-3 years of air freight, logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding experience
• Basic SAP experience required
• Certified forklift operator with a strong safety record
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to type 30-40 WPM accurately
• Strong computer literacy and basic math skills

• Enter shipment information accurately into company systems and generate required export documentation
• Apply correct rates, charges, and export clearance filing requirements
• Schedule shipment pickups with customers, vendors, and carriers
• Track air freight shipments from origin to destination and provide status updates
• Print, assemble, and distribute shipping documents for export shipments
• Assist with visual inspection of freight to ensure IATA compliance standards are met
• Create customer invoices and assist with billing issue resolution
• Update shipment milestones and tracking information to meet operational KPI requirements
• Communicate customer template updates, distribution list changes, and new customer setup needs
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and accurate processing
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to meet customer deadlines and service expectations
• Support import/export logistics activities while maintaining compliance with transportation regulations
• Operate forklifts as needed while following all safety procedures
