Key Qualifications:

  • Current Special Education Teacher License for Maine
  • Experience working with students in grades 6-12 (preferred)
  • Ability to adapt and provide support at both middle and high school levels
  • Organized and detail-focused with strong communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Attend IEP meetings, generally scheduled before/after school hours according to availability and school needs
  • Draft Written Notices and support development of meeting documentation
  • Update and enter IEP information accurately and promptly
  • Work closely with staff to provide ongoing paperwork and meeting support
  • Deliver consistent assistance to help the team meet IEP timelines across both the high school and middle school
  • Caseload will focus on grades 6-12, with support needs evolving throughout the school year
