Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Greenville, KY

Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
• Proven experience as a Nuclear Medicine and PET Technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing PET scans and utilizing nuclear medicine imaging equipment
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital or clinical setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during diagnostic PET and nuclear medicine imaging procedures
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor for adverse reactions
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure safety and accuracy
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to review and clarify orders
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in accordance with facility protocols
• Educate patients on procedural steps and safety measures
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety and infection control guidelines
