Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 10-week contract assignment in a Pediatric Emergency Room in Chicago, Illinois.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Pediatric ER nurse with at least 1 year of experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency care environment. PALS and BLS certifications are required, and candidates must have an active Illinois RN license in hand.

Candidates with Epic experience may be eligible for an accelerated start. Nurses without Epic experience will be required to complete an instructor-led Epic course, which may affect the start date.

Assignment Details

• Location: Chicago, IL

• Department: Pediatric Emergency Room

• Duration: 10 weeks

• Start Date: 09/08/2026

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license must be in hand

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience

• PALS certification required

• BLS certification required

• Pediatric Emergency Room experience preferred

• Epic experience preferred

• Candidates without Epic experience must complete an instructor-led Epic training course

• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pediatric emergency setting
