Physical Therapist -School

Whitecap Search Healthcare Partners is currently seeking a qualified professional to work in a school setting in Binghamton, NY. The role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Function

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs and goals.
• Treatment Implementation: Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote healing.
• Progress Monitoring: Track patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support and encouragement.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about the goals and benefits of physical therapy, as well as the importance of at-home exercises and self-care.
• Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes for insurance and legal purposes.

Requirements

• Experience in a school setting preferred
• New York State PT License
• Modified Resume submission required
