Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and educational teams near Tempe, AZ. This full-time school psychologist position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year, running from July 1st, 2025, through May 22nd, 2026. With an eight-hour workday and a consistent 40-hour workweek, you’ll work onsite exclusively—no virtual or hybrid arrangements—allowing you to engage directly with staff and students.

Qualifications & Skills Sought:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with psychoeducational testing, behavioral assessment, and intervention planning
  • Knowledge of special education laws and best practices in school psychological services
  • Collaborative approach with strong communication skills for working in multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct formal assessments and psychoeducational evaluations for a caseload of approximately 65 students
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and problem-solving meetings with educators, families, and support staff
  • Interpret results from cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional testing to inform interventions
  • Provide consultative support to classroom teachers and administrators, contributing to student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to policies and timelines
