Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid state special education teaching certification or licensure, appropriate for middle and/or primary education.
• Previous experience working in MD (Multiple Disabilities), autism (including non-verbal and physical impairments), and ED (Emotional Disabilities) classrooms highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement individualized education plans and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
• Experience managing caseloads of 9-15 students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide instruction and support in assigned MD and ED classrooms.
• Develop and implement effective IEPs and appropriate interventions.
• Facilitate social-emotional learning and crisis intervention when needed.
• Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
• Work closely with building staff (one primary site for most duties).
