Pharmacist in Charge

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Great direct hire opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge with a growing non sterile compounding mail order pharmacy. This is a hands on PIC role for someone comfortable with dispensing, patient counseling, pharmacy operations, and 503A regulatory compliance.

Position Details:

• Direct Hire
• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Possible weekend coverage as the pharmacy grows

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions and provide patient counseling
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and staff
• Maintain SOPs and USP <795>/<800> compliance
• Ensure FDA 503A regulatory compliance
• Manage inventory, controlled substances, and required documentation
• Handle patient inquiries and maintain excellent customer service
• Maintain compliance across multiple states

Ideal Candidate:

• Active Arizona Pharmacist License
• 3-5 years of pharmacy experience
• Previous PIC or pharmacy management experience preferred
• Mail order, outpatient, community, or compounding pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of state and federal 503A regulations
• Comfortable working in a hands on PIC role
• PioneerRx experience preferred, but training is available
• Additional licenses in CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO, or NJ are highly preferred
• Must be local to Gilbert, AZ
