Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time | $15K Sign-On (Nights)

Summary

Med-Surg RN opportunity in Panama City providing patient-centered acute care across a 238-bed hospital setting. The role involves assessing patients, administering medications, performing ordered treatments, documenting care, and supporting patient education and recovery in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license (or compact license with 60-day conversion)
• Acute care RN experience required (within last 3 years preferred)
• Within 5 years acceptable with strong overall RN experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
• BLS certification required within 30 days

Responsibilities Include

• Patient assessments on admission and throughout shifts
• Medication administration and monitoring responses
• Performing ordered procedures and treatments
• Patient and family education
• Coordination with physicians and care teams
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

Shift

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (rotating weekends)
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (rotating weekends)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1

Pay & Benefits

• $29.92 – $44.88/hr (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus

• $10,000 (Days)
• $15,000 (Nights)

Shift Differential

• +$4/hr nights
