Step into a fulfilling opportunity to make a direct impact on students’ lives as a full-time, in-person school psychologist supporting high schoolers for the 2026–2027 academic year. This contract position requires active participation in the school community, providing evaluations, assessments, and collaborating with other educators to meet educational and emotional needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware School Psychologist license (must provide proof of license).
  • Previous experience working in a school setting highly preferred, especially at the high school level.
  • Strong background in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and standardized assessments.
  • Proficiency in report writing and presenting findings to teams.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with staff and families.
  • Availability to work full-time, on-site, five days per week throughout the contract period (8/24/2026 – 6/16/2027).
  • Ability to reliably commute to the school site daily; reliable transportation required.
  • Willingness to complete district fingerprinting requirements within the first week (cost covered upfront by candidate).

  • Administer comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for high school students.
  • Develop clear, insightful reports to inform IEPs and interventions.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expertise to shape student supports.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to address the needs of individual students and their families.
  • Maintain clear documentation and uphold confidentiality standards.
  • Serve as a key resource in the development and implementation of student plans.
