This contract opportunity, located near Hollister, CA, is available for an immediate start and runs through the end of the school year. Desired qualities and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP credential
- Previous experience with early childhood or PreK caseloads
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized support
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic school setting
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK students
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans that address individual goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists for comprehensive student support
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Provide direct, in-person interventions in classroom and small group settings
- Consult and educate staff and caregivers on strategies to generalize communication skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and review
