Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist working with PreK students. This contract opportunity, located near Hollister, CA, is available for an immediate start and runs through the end of the school year. Desired qualities and qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP credential
  • Previous experience with early childhood or PreK caseloads
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized support
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic school setting

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK students
  • Develop and implement targeted therapy plans that address individual goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists for comprehensive student support
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Provide direct, in-person interventions in classroom and small group settings
  • Consult and educate staff and caregivers on strategies to generalize communication skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and review
