Retail Pharmacy Technician - Clovis, CA

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician position is available to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately 5-6 months, starting as soon as possible. This role is well-suited for candidates located in or near Fresno, CA, willing to work in Clovis, CA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, offering consistent weekday hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with prescription processing and verification
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals regarding medication usage and safety
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with prescription processing systems and pharmacy operations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities for interacting with patients and healthcare teams
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required
