• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Demonstrated experience in either EC resource/inclusion or self-contained classroom settings.
• Proven ability to successfully support students with significant Autism.
• Familiarity and proficiency with ECATS for data tracking and documentation.
• Strong collaborative skills and excellent communication with staff and families.
• Compassion, creativity, and the ability to adapt instructional strategies to individual student needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs.
• Utilize ECATS for accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster inclusive learning experiences.
• Create positive, structured classroom environments that encourage student engagement and growth.
• Engage with families to provide updates on student progress and recommend appropriate supports.
• Encourage and support students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals.
