Job Description
Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role for the 2026–2027 academic year, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time schedules on a flexible 4-day work week. This contract position places you at a single, onsite school location near Neosho, MO—there’s no travel between campuses, ensuring consistency and focus in your work. Supported by an experienced SLP Assistant (SLPA), you’ll have the help you need to manage your caseload and invest in direct student care.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging speech and language assessments, evaluations, and direct therapy to K–12 students.
- Developing, maintaining, and tracking progress for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Supervising and mentoring an SLPA, offering guidance and clinical leadership.
- Collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and parents during multidisciplinary meetings.
- Completing documentation, team meetings, and administrative tasks with dedicated paid indirect time.
