Job Summary
We are seeking a Composite Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Spanish Fork, UT, supporting advanced aerospace and defense manufacturing. This Level I Composite Technician role is ideal for candidates with 1 to 2 years of hands-on manufacturing or assembly experience who are ready to build precision composite structures in a quality-driven production environment.
In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and repair composite components using materials such as carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, honeycomb, adhesives, and bonding agents. You will work from blueprints and engineering specifications while using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and measuring instruments to produce high-quality assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble composite parts and subassemblies according to blueprints, work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
- Prepare bonding surfaces by sanding, cleaning, treating, and applying adhesives, sealants, and bonding agents using proper contamination-control practices.
- Trim, drill, route, sand, fit, and fasten composite components using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and templates.
- Install hardware such as inserts, bushings, brackets, rivets, bolts, and screws while verifying fit, alignment, torque, and placement requirements.
- Perform basic inspections and functional checks to confirm assembly quality, dimensional accuracy, movement, and alignment before final inspection.
- Maintain accurate records, communicate deviations or issues, follow safety procedures, and keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized.
Compensation and Benefits
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Location: Spanish Fork, UT.
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, $19.41 per hour.
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM, $20.41 per hour.
- 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, $21.41 per hour.
- Extended hours may be required.
