Retail Pharmacy Technician in Selma, CA

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A health center in Selma, CA, is seeking a skilled pharmacy technician to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately 5-6 months. This contract position requires someone who is dependable, punctual, and experienced in retail pharmacy environments.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform retail and community pharmacy technician duties within a health center setting
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
• Manage inventory and ensure proper handling of prescriptions using the Rx30 system
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a retail pharmacy technician
• Valid California pharmacy technician license; PTCB certification preferred
• Strong reliability with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
• Spanish-speaking skills are highly preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with the Rx30 pharmacy management system is a plus

Additional Details:

• The position is expected to start immediately and last for 5-6 months
• Candidates will likely commute roughly 20+ minutes from Fresno to Selma; no mileage reimbursement is available
