Job Summary

We're seeking a Microelectronics Assembler to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in electronics, manufacturing, and precision assembly. In this hands-on role, you will support the assembly and testing of advanced electronic products and systems while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This position requires eligibility to obtain an Interim Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Utilize microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Read, interpret, and follow assembly procedures, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
  • Work with components ranging from microscopic to larger assemblies, often requiring visual magnification.
  • Operate hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, and screwdrivers.
  • Accurately enter and maintain production-related data and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and quality control requirements.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong work ethic with a proven record of reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
  • Must be eligible to obtain an Interim Security Clearance.

Preferred:

  • Experience with electrical assembly, wiring, or microelectronics manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and electronic test equipment.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards, or willingness to learn.
  • Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Soldering experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Chelmsford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
