Instructional Aide - Warwick, RI

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a dedicated paraprofessional in one of several school environments. Multiple positions are available across high school, middle school, elementary, and kindergarten levels, each offering the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the academic year.

Opportunities are available with varying schedules to fit your experience and interests:

• High School: 8:00am – 2:15pm, Monday through Friday
• Middle School: 7:05am – 2:00pm, Monday through Friday
• Elementary School: 8:30am – 3:00pm or 9:15am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
• Kindergarten: 8:30am – 3:00pm, Monday through Friday

Assignments begin at the start of the school year on August 31, 2026, and continue through June 10, 2027, with a consistent 32-hour work week.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Rhode Island Teacher Assistant (RI TA) Certification, or active CNA certification with prior schools-based experience
• Ability to collaborate positively with teachers, staff, and students
• Patience, flexibility, and a strong commitment to supporting student growth
• Experience adapting to diverse classroom environments a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students under teacher direction
• Help facilitate classroom activities, routines, and transitions
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment where every student can thrive
• Offer one-on-one or small group assistance as assigned
