Job Description

The assignment spans from July 1st, 2025 through May 22nd, 2026, encompassing the full academic year.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Licensure and credentialing as a school psychologist in Arizona.
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, working with children and adolescents.
- Strong assessment, testing, and report-writing abilities.
- Comfort managing a caseload of approximately 65 students.
- Familiarity with special education laws, procedures, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological and academic testing per student evaluation plans.
- Interpreting data and preparing detailed, compliant reports.
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, multidisciplinary team sessions, and parent conferences.
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans tailored to students’ needs.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to compliance timelines and legal requirements.
- Demonstrating flexibility and compassion when handling a variety of student needs.
This contract offers a steady schedule of 8 hours daily, up to 40 hours per week, in an engaging onsite-only environment where your expertise will meaningfully support educational success.
