School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Juan Bautista, California

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure
• Experience in a school setting, particularly with PreK-aged children
• Strong understanding of therapeutic approaches and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and assessments for PreK students to identify speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and services
• Offer support, resources, and training to school staff and families, fostering a positive learning environment

This in-person position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year. You'll become an integral part of a welcoming school community, making a difference in students’ school journeys and gaining valuable professional experience.
