Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Chandler, Arizona

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A growing non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy seeks a hands-on Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for a direct hire opportunity. This role requires active involvement in dispensing, counseling, pharmacy operations, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic environment focused on expanding national coverage. The position is located in Chandler, AZ, with additional openings in the West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide exceptional patient counseling.
• Supervise pharmacy staff while maintaining SOP adherence and compliance with USP, FDA 503A, and state regulations.
• Manage inventory, including controlled substances, and oversee thorough documentation.
• Address patient inquiries, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance across all serviced states.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pharmacist licensed in Arizona or New Jersey (corresponding to work location).
• 3–5 years of pharmacy experience, with preference for mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding backgrounds.
• Proven ability to function effectively as a working PIC with strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for 503A facilities.
• Previous PIC or pharmacy management experience preferred.
• PioneerRx experience is a plus, though training will be provided.
• Licensure in West Coast states (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) highly preferred to enable expansion of pharmacy coverage nationwide.
• Local candidates prioritized; relocation has not been approved.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Occasional weekend coverage as pharmacy growth continues.
