Job Description
As an Assembler, you will employ a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, blueprints, work instructions, and test equipment to correctly assemble and test production assemblies and devices.
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Stand in a small space for a 10-hour shift.
- Consistently lift and pack 50–70 lbs.
- Report issues with parts, final products, or processes to the lead, production manager, or quality assurance.
- Train coworkers on job functions as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).
- Report component shortages to Manufacturing, Production Managers, and Purchasing Coordinator.
- Assess and maintain component part stocking levels and kanbans.
- Create and follow assembly plans using specifications and experience.
- Operate production line equipment and assemble products, units, machines, and subassemblies.
- Mount and connect mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment.
- Cut and fit pipe and tubing; clean parts using hand files or grinders.
- Drill, tap, or ream holes using drill press or portable drill.
- Align components and fasten them using hand or power tools.
- Install moving parts and test for free movement.
- Align and mesh gears in gearboxes.
- Operate drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines.
- Test or assist in testing completed products.
- Pack and build pallets for shipment.
- Perform other duties/stations as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience in assembly line production.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and write English (bilingual is a plus).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is climate regulated, ensuring comfort during shifts. The schedule runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime on two or three Fridays.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
