Key qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or ability to obtain for Colorado)
- Experience in SPED classrooms (Resource, Transition, or SSN) preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborative approach with other educators, administrators, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Delivering differentiated instruction tailored to meet each student's needs
- Developing and updating IEPs in partnership with the educational team and families
- Managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive, structured atmosphere
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple sites, drawing from shared expertise
- Advocating for students’ educational, social, and transition goals
