The Finisher inspects, sorts, counts, and processes finished parts to ensure they meet customer requirements and are delivered to Quality Control and Shipping on time. This role focuses on maintaining high quality standards through detailed visual inspection, accurate documentation, and efficient coordination with production and support teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Friday - Sunday, 4:00pm - 4:30am
- Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm - 2:30am
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Friday - Monday, 6:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities
- Inspect finished parts visually to identify defects, verify requirements, and ensure all products meet quality standards.
- Sort completed builds and jobs while maintaining accurate part counts and proper documentation.
- Install part inserts and perform all required finishing tasks according to detailed job instructions and work sheets.
- Enter production and quality data accurately into the QA database and internal software systems.
- Reject defective or non-conforming parts and document issues as required by quality procedures.
- Follow job sheets and detailed work instructions consistently to complete work correctly and on schedule.
- Coordinate with supervisors, program expeditors, Quality Control, and shipping teams to meet deadlines and delivery requirements.
- Manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently in a manufacturing environment while maintaining high productivity.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace, including good housekeeping of equipment and work areas.
- Use hand tools, sandblasters, and other finishing equipment as needed to complete post-processing procedures.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and support continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with team members using clear verbal and written communication.
- Work collaboratively as a team player and promote a positive work environment.
- Complete important tasks before leaving for the day, including staying for overtime when required.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed based on the work performed.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or deburring experience.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with hand tools and finishing equipment.
- Production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills.
- Ability to accurately count parts and maintain precise part counts.
- Ability to identify defects and non-conforming products through visual inspection.
- Ability to read, understand, and execute detailed job instructions and work sheets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational skills for tracking production details and maintaining an orderly workspace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and collaborate across functions.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks without constant supervision.
- Familiarity with post-processing procedures for finished parts.
- Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, navigating internal software, and using the Microsoft Office suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in finishing, inspection, blasting, or similar roles in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience using sandblasters and other surface finishing tools.
- Exposure to quality assurance practices and procedures.
- Ability to interpret basic blueprints or part requirements.
- Experience with QA databases or production tracking systems.
- Demonstrated ability to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Experience working in both prototype and mass production environments.
