Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with PreK through 3rd-grade students. This rewarding opportunity starts as soon as possible and focuses on supporting students with mild to moderate needs in a dynamic school setting near Salisbury, MD.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Current SLP - CCC certification required
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with PreK–3rd grade populations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and administrators
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver targeted interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to students with mild to moderate needs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and interpret results for placement and progress monitoring
  • Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services and student outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding progress, challenges, and recommended strategies
  • Participate in parent conferences, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
