Job Description
Location: Telluride, CO
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 10-hour shifts
Position OverviewWe are seeking hardworking and dependable Construction Laborers to support residential and commercial construction projects in the Telluride area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established general contractor offering long-term, stable work (2+ years) in a unique mountain environment.
Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, enjoy working outdoors, and are eager to learn and grow within the construction industry.
Responsibilities- Assist with site preparation, demolition, cleanup, and material handling.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support carpenters, equipment operators, and other skilled trades as directed.
- Perform basic construction tasks, including digging, grading, framing support, and concrete work assistance.
- Set up and remove temporary work areas, fencing, and safety barriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Assist with traffic control, snow removal, and jobsite weather protection as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors to support project success.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor construction environment.
- Previous construction, landscaping, or general labor experience.
- Experience on residential or commercial construction projects.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
- Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
- Work on uneven terrain, ladders, and scaffolding when required.
- Perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions and high-altitude environments.
- Comfort working in mountain conditions, including snow, rain, cold temperatures, and direct sun exposure.
- $25-$30 per hour
- Paid drive time: One hour of drive time paid each workday

This is a Contract position based out of Telluride, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
