Job Description
Neonatology NP locums coverage is needed in Arizona for a Level IV NICU providing 100% inpatient care of critically ill neonates.
Highlights
- 100% inpatient.
- In-house shift options: 24-hour, 12-hour day or night, and 9-hour day shifts.
- Target workload: 36-48 hours per week.
- Days needed TBD, including weekends.
Practice Setting
- Level IV NICU with 60 beds; critically ill neonates, no delivery service.
- Provider coverage model: 6 providers days, 3 providers nights.
- Patient assignments divided among providers and adjusted based on patient acuity.
- EMR: Sunrise Clinical Manager.
Cases & Procedures
- Management of critically ill neonates, including neurological, surgical, cardiac, and complex multisystem conditions.
- Endotracheal intubation.
- UAC and UVC placement.
- Lumbar puncture, chest tube placement, PAL.
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner.
- Board Certified in Neonatology.
- AHA BLS, AHA PALS, and NRP.
- Arizona RN and APRN licenses; Arizona DEA.
- Open to IMLC Physicians with an active IMLC LOQ only.
