Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Allentown, Pennsylvania

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This Per Diem opportunity calls for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in Allentown, PA, from August 19th to August 25th. Working the first shift from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, you will play an essential role in ensuring accurate prescription processing and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Enter patient details and prescription orders accurately into the computer system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications safely and efficiently.
• Manage and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain sufficient stock levels.
• Greet customers warmly and address their needs or concerns with professionalism.
• Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate timely prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience with Pioneer Rx is a plus but not mandatory.
