Production AssociateJob Overview

We are seeking a Production Associate to support manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are available for production, assisting with shipping and receiving activities, and operating equipment as needed. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient workflow and supporting production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Move materials and finished products throughout the facility using forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Pull, stage, and unload incoming shipments.
  • Ensure production operators have the materials needed to maintain manufacturing flow.
  • Assist with inventory movement and material replenishment.
  • Operate wire-weaving equipment and assist with shear operations as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating forklifts and performing material handling duties.
  • Ability to use RF scanners and warehouse tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or production support roles.
  • Ability to adapt to cross-training opportunities and learn new equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Willingness to work up to 8 hours of overtime per week as needed.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility that produces equipment for the mining industry. This role involves supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, safety, and reliability are essential to success.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Richmond, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
