Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and dependable Forklift Drivers to support manufacturing and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for safely transporting materials throughout the facility, loading and unloading materials, staging product, and supplying production areas.
The ideal candidate has prior forklift experience, takes workplace safety seriously, and can work efficiently in a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load, unload, stage, and transport raw materials and finished products.
- Deliver materials to designated production areas.
- Maintain accurate placement and organization of materials.
- Inspect the forklift before use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow proper forklift operating procedures and facility safety rules.
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory movement.
- Verify labels, quantities, and material locations as required.
- Keep work areas clean and free of unnecessary hazards.
- Communicate with warehouse and production personnel regarding material needs.
- Follow all PPE, safety, and operating procedures.
- Perform other material-handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, climb, and enter/exit forklift equipment frequently.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Work may involve exposure to warehouse and manufacturing noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position.
