Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required proficiency on both Siemens and Philips CT systems.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Tech unit supporting Adult Acute Care and Emergency Department patients
- Night shift, 5x8-hour shifts with start times varying between 15:00-23:30
- Every weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
- No floating required
- Epic EMR experience required; Allscripts experience preferred
- Performs CT imaging of abdomen, chest, head, and vascular chest with and without contrast
- Performs multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), brain perfusion, and CT arthrography studies
- Performs cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
- Performs myelography, drainage, aspirations, and biopsies
- Performs colonography and virtual colonography procedures
- Starts peripheral IVs as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- BLS and ARRT CT certifications required
- ARRT R certification required; ARRT advanced certification preferred
- Required proficiency with both Siemens and Philips CT equipment
- Adult Acute Care and Emergency Department experience required
- Active California license required if applicable
- References required for consideration

- Advanced EKG exam required prior to start, with a passing score of 80% and up to two attempts allowed
