We are seeking detail-oriented and tech-savvy Detroit residents to join our team as Field Canvassers. This position is project-based and sporadic, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking flexible, project-based work.
Unlike traditional canvassing roles, this position requires minimal direct interaction with homeowners. Instead, you will primarily be responsible for collecting and uploading property-related information using handheld devices.
Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned neighborhoods/areas as directed
- Collect and record property details accurately
- Upload information and photos using personal handheld devices/software
- Ensure data is entered correctly and in a timely manner
- Follow assigned routes and project instructions with attention to detail
Requirements:
- Must be a resident of the City of Detroit
- Computer literate and comfortable using smartphones/tablets
- Reliable internet/data access and ability to upload information from the field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Comfortable walking outdoors and working in various weather conditions
- Flexible availability for a sporadic schedule (hours vary by project needs)
