Production Supervisor

Aegis is seeking a Third Shift Production/Die Setting Supervisor to join our client's organization in Niles, IL. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years of High-speed, high-volume manufacturing experience in a production environment.

• Experience leading, coaching, and developing operators on the production floor.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and meeting customer specifications.

• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and partner with teams to resolve problems.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

• Experience working in a process-driven manufacturing environment where efficiency, downtime reduction, and continuous improvement are priorities.

Strongly Preferred:

• Packaging, printing, converting, or specialty manufacturing experience.

• Folding carton manufacturing experience.

• Hands-on die cutting, blanking, foil stamping, embossing, or other secondary converting experience.

• Experience with high-end/custom products where quality and attention to detail are critical.

• Experience troubleshooting production equipment and supporting machine operators.

• Experience leading teams in high-speed manufacturing environments.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Nice to Have:

• Supervisor, Lead, or Senior Operator experience.

• Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement experience.

• Experience with BOBST, Heidelberg, Jagenberg, or similar converting equipment.

• Experience in specialty packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, consumer goods, or other premium manufacturing environments.

• Experience with secondary processes such as gluing, printing, coating, stamping, or finishing.

• Background in industries with complex production processes and strict quality requirements.
