Warehouse Associate/Material Handler
Automation Personnel Services is hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate/Material Handler in Mesquite, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, packing and operating stand up forklift and completing daily tasks efficiently and safely.
Pay Rate:
$17.50 per hour.
Schedule and Hours:
1st shift Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM
Warehouse Associate/Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners, pick tickets, or warehouse management systems.
- Pack and prepare products for shipment while ensuring order accuracy and product quality.
- Stock incoming inventory in assigned warehouse locations.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse using a stand-up forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Replenish picking locations to maintain product availability.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Warehouse Associate/Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications:
•Previous warehouse, order picking, packing, or material handling experience preferred.
• Required experience operating a stand-up forklift.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout an entire shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic math and inventory skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type:
