- Pay: $17-18/hr, DOE
- Days: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 1st shift 7:00am-4:00pm
Material Handler Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Material Handler to support our Shipping & Receiving operations. This position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, pulling and staging orders, verifying incoming and outgoing materials, and operating various types of forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Material Handler to support our Shipping & Receiving operations. This position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, pulling and staging orders, verifying incoming and outgoing materials, and operating various types of forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Material Handler Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate multiple types of forklifts, including: Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Rough Terrain Forklift, Sit-Down Forklift
- Load and unload LTL and delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Verify incoming and outgoing materials against manifests, purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store inventory.
- Maintain organization of warehouse and yard areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced shipping environment, especially during peak truck arrival periods between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Previous material handling, warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts required; experience with cherry pickers and reach trucks is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and verify shipping documents, manifests, and purchase orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including unloading trucks by hand when necessary.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
This is a temp to hire position.
