Banquet Houseman

JOB SCOPE:

· Responsible for set-up and breakdown of all banquet rooms and other duties as required.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Pick-up BEO from DOB/Banquet Captain

2. Set tables and chairs in accordance with BEO’s / Diagram

3. Mop and Sweep floors

4. Spot Clean all Windows

5. Dust and clean furniture

6. Clean all banquet storage areas

7. Maintain ballroom patio / foyer clean

8. Spot clean walls, doors and carpets (Ballroom)

9. Mop and sweep ballroom kitchen

10. Ensure back outside area of ballroom are clean and clear of trash

11. Take out trash as needed

12. Breakdown all banquet equipment after each event

13. Store Banquet equipment in proper storage areas

14. Maintain Banquet Equipment in operating condition

15. Report damage equipment and burn out light bulbs

16. Other tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· 6 months to 1 year in a similar job that provides the skills required for this position.

Desirable:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Previous experience cleaning in luxury hotels
