Director of Clinical Operations

Empowered Staffing is partnered with a rapidly expanding senior living company that is currently seeking a Director of Clinical Operations for its Milwaukee facility. This clinical leader will provide hands-on support and guidance to the nursing leadership team while strengthening clinical practices, regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and quality outcomes. 

Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility’s senior clinical leader and provide daily, hands-on support to the nursing management team.
• Strengthen clinical systems, policies, procedures, and workflows to promote consistent, high-quality resident care.
• Maintain continuous survey readiness and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
• Conduct audits, clinical reviews, and root-cause analyses to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans and ensure sustained operational follow-through.
• Provide leadership, coaching, education, and performance guidance to nursing managers and frontline clinical staff.
• Help build scalable clinical practices that can support future organizational growth and broader clinical oversight.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin, or the ability to obtain Wisconsin licensure.
• Significant leadership experience within skilled nursing, long-term care, long-term acute care, intensive care, or another high-acuity healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop nursing managers and interdisciplinary clinical teams.
• Strong communication, judgment, organization, and operational follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced clinical environment.
