ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED


We have an immediate need for an Automated Test Engineer. In this role, you will be key to ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the RAD system during an enterprise modernization effort. As a detail-oriented advocate for software quality, you will design, develop, and execute robust automated test suites, collaborating closely within a cross-functional Agile team of software developers, system engineers, and product owners to validate functional enhancements across converged authoring and dissemination tools.


The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$250,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.


Work Style: On-site with up to 2 days per week of telework flexibility available!

, Required Skills

Automation Engineering: Proven hands-on experience designing, writing, and maintaining automated tests using Cypress (Note: Cypress test automation experience must be specifically detailed on your resume).

  • Scripting Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for test script development.

  • Testing Scope: Demonstrated experience testing modern web applications, RESTful microservices, and APIs.

  • QA Best Practices: Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and lifecycle processes.

  • Agile Collaboration: Practical experience in Agile software development environments using tools like Jira and Confluence.

  • Version Control: Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git).


  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 7+ years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 11+ years of hands-on technical software development experience in lieu of a degree.

CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Experience configuring and integrating automated tests directly into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD).

Cloud Architecture: Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and deployment within Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Containerization: Basic understanding of Docker containerization to execute tests across consistent environments.

Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with government agency report authoring and dissemination policies.
