Monday-Friday | School-Based | Weekly Pay | No Nights or Weekends
Covelo Group is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) for school-based positions in Nevada City, CA. You'll work directly with students who need behavioral and classroom support, helping them stay engaged, build positive behaviors, and make progress toward their individual goals.
Depending on the assignment, you may work one-on-one with a student or support multiple students in a classroom setting.

What You'll Do
Provide one-on-one or small-group behavioral support to students
Help implement student IEPs, 504 plans, and behavior support plans
Reinforce positive behaviors and help students stay engaged in classroom activities
Support students with transitions and daily school routines
Assist students with academic activities when needed
Observe student behavior and collect data to track progress
Maintain accurate student service logs and documentation
Work with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff to support student goals
Supervise and support students in the classroom and during other school activities
Provide toileting and diapering assistance when required by a student's individual needs or assignment
Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
What You'll Need
High school diploma or equivalent
ABA, Behavior Technician, or experience working with children preferred, but not required
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Comfortable working with students with behavioral and special education needs
Ability to follow established behavior intervention and support plans
Ability to remain patient and calm during challenging situations
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between school sites as needed
