CT Technologist Job Details
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 17-week contract position. The role includes working a shift from Thursday to Sunday, 2200 to 0830.
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality CT imaging for patients aged 0-18 years with various diagnoses.
- Utilize Siemens Definition Edge & Biograph mct flow edge (PET/CT scanner) technology.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure a comfortable experience.
- Maintain a positive and reassuring demeanor while working with children.
- Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment to produce optimal imaging results.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging; pediatric experience preferred.
- Valid ARRT certification in CT.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active licensure as required in the state of employment.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated kindness and patience when interacting with children and their parents.
- Ability to produce high-quality images using advanced imaging technology.
- No floating required.
- Weekend rotation will depend on the shift selected.
- Free garage and street parking available, with local light rail options if needed.
Consideration will be given to first-time travelers. Candidates must be prepared for possible on-call duties, limited to off-hours and weekends, not exceeding 24 hours per month.
