Position Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates patients and develops individualized plans of care addressing speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.

Services are provided across the full continuum of care with a focus on quality, cost-conscious treatment, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) examinations.
• Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Deliver patient-centered services while maintaining quality and cost-effective care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable regulatory and professional standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support effective patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience
• Prior hospital/acute care experience – Required
• Proficiency with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) exams – Required
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification – Required
• BLS certification – Required

Preferred Qualification

• FEES certification – Preferred
