Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Scheduled Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Overtime: Available after 40 hours
Compensation:
Blended Pay Rate: $44/hour
Weekly Gross: Up to $1,760/week, (including stipend)
Taxable W-2 Rate: $15.30/hour
Non-Taxable Stipend: $28.70/hour
Weekly Stipend: $1,148/week
Completion Bonus: $1,500
Overtime available after 40 hours/week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week rehabilitation assignment in Freeport, Maine. The COTA will work alongside occupational therapists and the interdisciplinary care team to provide quality patient care and support patients in achieving their functional goals.
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Assist patients with improving functional abilities, mobility, and independence.
Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities.
Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain compliance with facility and clinical standards.
Requirements
Active COTA certification/licensure appropriate for practice in Maine.
COTA experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting preferred.
Strong patient-care, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Resume and Reliant Pro Rehab pre-screen are required for submission.
Must meet all facility and assignment-specific requirements.
