Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Interventional Laboratory (IR CL) specialist opportunity in Stockton, California. This position involves managing complex IR procedures within a busy cath lab and IR suites, including advanced techniques such as laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, and IABP. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a STEMI receiving center with critically ill patients and a high volume of cases.
Job Details:
- Location: Stockton, California
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend. The shift start date is 08/10/2026.
- Certifications and Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, fluoroscopy certification, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in peripheral and coronary cardiovascular procedures.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or related field. Knowledge of Merge Hemodialysis system is preferred; experience with Siemens or Phillips equipment is helpful but not required.
- Additional Skills: Candidates should be comfortable with critically ill patients, have experience with peripheral and coronary circulation, and be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call.
- Operational Details: No floating required; unit orientation includes 1-2 days. The team uses laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet. They are a STEMI receiving center with a high volume of STEMI cases each month. Emergency procedures and rapid response are routine.
- System: Cerner charting system.
- Shift Requirements: First to float, with 36 hours minimum per week.
