Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT scanning experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a hospital-based position.
Details
- Work in the CT department of a hospital setting
- Schedule includes 4x10 hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM with weekend rotation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT scanning experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required
- License required if applicable for practicing state (KY or IN)
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging procedures including patient positioning, contrast administration, and image acquisition to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide age-appropriate education and communication
- Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and determine if additional imaging is needed
- Oversee and train students in patient care as part of their clinical training
- Demonstrate knowledge of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, infection control, and quality control techniques
