TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Other RN in Fremont, California, 94536!
A Triage or First Aid Registered Nurse (RN) at Tesla worksin an on-site manufacturing or factory clinic (such as the large facilities in Fremont or Austin) to provide rapid clinical assessment, emergency triage, and stabilization for thousands of industrial workers.
Role and Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Partner with on-site Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and paramedics to answer medical calls across the facility.
- Injury-Triage: Assess acute occupational injuries (lacerations, burns, crush injuries, chemical or thermal exposures, and orthopedic trauma).
- Medical Triage: Evaluate non-work-related acute events (chest pain, near-fainting, diabetic emergencies, shortness of breath, or allergic reactions).
- Disposition Decisions: Determine whether an employee can safely return to work, needs first aid on campus, requires an urgent care referral, or needs immediate transport to a hospital emergency room.
- Active RN license.
- Strong background in Emergency Room (ER) or trauma care (typically 2+ years preferred) to master rapid, accurate triage under pressure.
- Certifications such as Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS
