Mental Health Support Specialist

We’re looking for a compassionate, quick-thinking professional who can provide support to individuals reaching out during difficult or urgent situations.

In this role, you’ll help people navigate immediate concerns, determine the appropriate level of support, and connect them with available services and resources. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a meaningful difference.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to incoming calls and provide calm, supportive assistance
• Gather information and determine the appropriate next steps based on each caller’s needs
• Help individuals experiencing emotional or personal challenges
• Provide information and connect individuals with appropriate services and resources
• Coordinate with internal teams and community partners when additional support is needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality
• Provide additional support and follow-up when appropriate

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, human services, social services, customer support, or a related field
• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic in challenging situations
• Comfortable working with computer systems and maintaining accurate records
• Reliable and adaptable with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Bonus: Bilingual skills or experience working with diverse or underserved communities
