Assistant Manager - Financial Institution

The Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting branch leadership, guiding staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations. While prior experience in financial services or leadership is preferred, we’re willing to train candidates who demonstrate strong initiative, people skills, and a desire to grow into a leadership role. Some travel will be required.

What You’ll Do

·         Support the Manager in overseeing daily operations, service standards, and workflow

·         Assist with supervising staff, answering questions, and ensuring consistent member service

·         Handle complex member transactions, account issues, and problem resolution

·         Maintain operational accuracy of cash handling, balancing, and compliance procedures

·         Help monitor branch performance goals and contribute to process improvements

·         Step into leadership responsibilities when the Manager is unavailable

·         Build strong relationships with members by providing friendly, knowledgeable, and solutions‐focused service

What We’re Looking For

·         Experience in banking, customer service, or leadership preferred

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and adapt to changing needs

·         Comfort working in a fast‐paced, service‐driven environment

·         High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus

·         Willingness to grow into a leadership role with hands‐on guidance
