Metal Fabricator

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator with a strong background in structural steel fabrication. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and will be able to lead and mentor team members while working alongside them to ensure high-quality production in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

            •           Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to structural steel fabrication is very important

            •           Operate metalworking machinery, including shears, brakes, plasma cutters, and saws.

            •           Fabricate structural steel components with precision according to specifications.

            •           Lead and mentor junior fabricators, providing guidance and support on best practices.

            •           Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.

            •           Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols.

            •           Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project timelines and goals.

Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

            •           High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metal fabrication is preferred.

            •           Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, particularly with structural steel.

            •           Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

            •           Strong knowledge of metalworking machinery, including saws.

            •           Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.

            •           Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

            •           Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials.

            •           Clean driving record.
