Warehouse Associate- Plumbing & HVAC Supply (Opportunity for Overtime)

Summary:

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team at our headquarters in Newark, New Jersey. The Warehouse Associate will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

· Loading and unloading delivery trucks and vendor shipments quickly, safely, and accurately

· Receiving, processing, and organizing incoming plumbing and HVAC merchandise

· Storing materials in designated locations to maintain an efficient layout

· Picking, packing, and preparing orders and parts for our commercial projects

· Conducting regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy

· Collaborating with management to flag and resolve any stock or order discrepancies

· Any other tasks assigned by manager

What We Are Looking For:

· Industry Knowledge: Minimum 1 year of warehouse/stocking experience, with specific experience in Plumbing or HVAC supply required

· Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds, and comfortably handle the repetitive loading/unloading of freight

· Detail-Oriented: Proficient in reading numerical data, verifying packing slips against shipments, and following instructions accurately

· Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to maintaining warehouse safety protocols

Compensation:

$19.00 - $20.00 / hour + Opportunity for Overtime Weekly

· After 40 Hours Overtime Rate: $28.50 - $30.00

· Protanal to Earn: $988.00 – $1,040.00 Gross Per Week

Schedule:

· Monday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Sign-On Bonus Details:

· First Payout ($250 at 30 Days): Awarded for consistent on-time attendance (7:00 AM sharp) and completing introductory training on our plumbing/HVAC inventory layout.

· Second Payout ($250 at 90 Days): Awarded for maintaining a safe, incident-free work record and demonstrating independent, accurate order-picking.
