Job Description
The technician will install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras, video conferencing systems, control systems, digital signage, switching equipment, and associated cabling. The employee will provide onsite support for meetings, presentations, conferences, training events, and executive-level engagements; perform preventive maintenance and system testing; diagnose hardware, software, connectivity, audio, video, and control-system issues; maintain equipment inventories and service records; coordinate repairs and equipment replacement; provide basic user training; document technical issues and resolutions; and escalate complex problems to senior technicians or AV engineers.
Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of AV, technology, construction, or technical project management experience; demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects; knowledge of commercial AV installation and integration; experience managing schedules, budgets, vendors, procurement, and customer requirements; strong Microsoft Office and project tracking skills; and PMP, CTS or equivalent certification preferred.
